Hello,
I am running computer in pure SATA (not RAID) configuration on Win XP. Using nVidia SATA Drivers (nForce630a)
Everytime I restart the computer, then windows spin HDD down during restart process. No problems occur but I am afraid it is not absolutely healthy for HDD. Is this normal behavious for SATA devices under Windows XP?
Many thanks for your help.

| I would say it is a drivers issue. Which driver version are you using? |

I saw something similar on those drivers... Try other version - I am sure you will feel the difference |
