Ahh now that's some excellent info.

So, do you think if I loosened the timings a little more and dropped the DDR voltage to 2.5v it would be more stable? There's probably no guarantee that it would, but theoretically? Or does my RAM actually require 2.7v to begin with? It seems to be fine at the moment, but I'll have to run like this for a bit to determine the actual stability. If I run into problems later, though, would that be an option? Or would I be better off at that point with memory that's rated for 2.5v?

Thanks for the input .. I think I'll actually look into actively cooling the Northbridge because the "CPU Socket" seems to be hotter than it should.. and with the Northbridge so close, it's probably contributing to that. I don't know though. I'm touching the CPU heatsink and it's not hot at all. Nowhere near 100 degrees F. The fan's been blowing at like 8000RPM since I installed MBM and saw the readings.. Maybe that heat just isn't transferring to the heatsink. I have a little arctic silver or something contacting the diode though.

Anything else I should know about this board while I've got you here? Wink

Hi there (sorry for my bad English),

I have an A7N8X-E Deluxe MB with an Athlon XP 3200+ (FSB @ 200 MHz).
I did have a lot of problems with Corsair and Crucial high end, high voltage memories.

I now use Samsung chips (UCCC 3-3-3-8 @ 2,5V)

My advanced settings are:
Memory Frequency : 100% (Synchrone)
Memory Timing 2,5-3-3-9
CPU Vcore 1.675V (For Prime95 stability)
DDR Reference Voltage 2.6V (Default)

These settings work fine for me (my rig passes more than 14 hours with Memtest+ or Prime95).

If it can help someone...
