I've been out of the loop with my MB since about late 2005. I'm not sure what the latest chipset drivers are and bios and raid drivers etc... could anyone be kind enough to tell me the latest stable bios and drivers? i just installed 2 250gb hdds and i'm running it in radi0 on the sil controller but it's really slow, so im planning on switching over to the nvraid controller but i'm not sure where to start. any help is greatly appreciated. also, do i need a floppy to update the bios?

I'm using BIOS 1016 which is the most stable one I have had yet. Do not flash 1017 as it is said to cause lots of issues.

As for the drivers: that will depend on the OS you intend to run. I just grabbed mine from the nVidia site.

I have that board too.
Just go to the hardware vendors and on the message boards here to find drivers. You'll need the nforce4 drivers.
I have had issues with nvidia drivers, and tried to avoid them where possible (ethernet, audio) - using the realtek net chip and a Razer sound card.
I have BIOS 1018 and it seems to work fine.
