A friend of mine bought this PC in a Saturn shop : Acer ASPIRE M3640 1E7Z.
Here are the specs:
Motherboard : nVidia nForce 630i ;
Processor : Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.40 GHz, 8 MB L2 cache, FSB 1066 MHz) ;
Memory : 2 GB DDR2 ;
Video : nVidia GeForce 7100 M
Disk : 160 GB SATA 7200
It came with Vista Premium Edition but he wanted to install Micro 2003 on it.
The problem is is impossible to install any version of XP / 2003 on it, the install starts in textmode, reads the controllers then suddendly stops with a BSOD : 0x0000007B (F78AEA94,0xC0000034...
It doesn't even go to the disk/partition selection (where to install Windows)...
We tried several installations of XP AND 2003, with or without integrated driverpacks, with or without integration of SATA IDE drivers or SATA RAID drivers, none will work. The only thing that partly worked was the textmode integration of SATA drivers in a modded version of Micro 2003 BUT failed when coming in graphical installation (after texmode install + restart)...
It is unclear where the problem is because the install doesn't come to the drive/partition selection :
- it doesn't ask on which drive partition it should be installed ;
- it doesn't even complain about not finding the disk...
Any idea on this ? Advices welcome... Fernando1 in particular !

Fernando doesn't have any ideas how to solve the problem.
The problem is, that only a few WHQL signed nForce IDE drivers are fully compatible with the nForce 630i chipset.
If the BSOD's really are nForce IDE driver related, you may try this one. It's the nForce SATA driver v10.1.0.26, which does support nForce 630i chipsets and is not as problematic as the 10.1.0.20 of NVIDIA's official 16.08 package.
If this driver does not solve your problem, you may try a modded nForce S-ATA driver v9.98.

Thank you very much Fernando, I sent the file to my friend, he will test it tomorrow (it's 11 PM here) and I'll post the results...
So far, we haven't be able to install any version of Windows XP/2003 on this board yet, due to the problem of Sata-IDE... Keep investigating...
