I've been using epox motherboard for almost one and half year and never encounter any problem, with the following specifications:

Processor : Athlon 64 2800+
Motherboard : Epox 8HMMI-A
Memory : 256 MB Kingston KVR400X64C3A/256 2.6V
Video card : 128MB Geforce FX 5200
HDD : 40GB Samsung
Monitor : Samsung SyncMaster
OS : Windows XP Home SP2

But now due to increasing demand of required specs of new games. I increase the main memory to 512MB by adding another 256 MB Kingston KVR400X64C3A/256 2.6V.

My problem is when i add the new memory card, it cant boot I tried to some pc with same spec still the system hang. Is there something to be configure in the bios? or there is some compatibility issue?

Please Help! Thanks!

Note: Using a single 256MB Kingston memory works fine...

Thanks a lot wonkanoby, i contacted Epox and they replied that the motherboard does not support cpu core voltage and vdimm voltage adjustment in bios.

i try to swap my Kingston memory with the generic one (the cheap brand) and it works fine... Smile thanks it works....

I put my kingston memory on my Asus A7V8X-X and got no problem...

Thanks again for the help....
