Power on by keyboard-set in bios but doesnt work..

i wonder i have a standard cherry keyboard and also a logitech elite pro keyboard

the cherry is PS2 the Logitech is USB. Both keyboards will not power up the computer
when hitting any key. (like its set in the bios).

I always have to use the hard switch to turn on...

Any clues? Im using the board as it was straight from the box and didnt change
any jumper settings...per default it should act like any PC does...if i set the bios
to turn on via keystroke or come back on by hitting a key or moving
the mouse...it simply refuses. A bit weird.


i still have the problem ,..pc wont wake up with keyboard allthough bios settings
are enabled and even the extra power jumpers to usb are set. If i shut down
from windows it was no problem with just about any acpi based system to
start the computer with a keypress. *bump*
