awesome info thanks alot for the help info worked a charm the link was not found but i croped the limk back some took off a little bit on the end of link then it worked i dloaded the one you mentioned and installed them i updated bios first then drivers and kept telling then to install anyways as it did not want to really just keep telling it to do each one. it seemed for some reason the on board ethernet connection would look good and says it was working properly but never could get it to go online tried several different things to get it to work but as i wanted it to use a wireless card that was a little bit hard
to do but i had a linksys card installed pci card the only way i could get it to work was by using the cd it came with and
going to the start up file on the cd right clicking it going to the compatibility tab and tell it to run in windows xp sp2 mode
and check the box run as admin.
the pc has windows 7 ultimate 32 bit 1 gig of ram and a nvidia gforce 9400 card pci
my boy is playing silkroadonline and halo2 even though it says not enough ram right now thanks again for the info :D :D :sweet:

Great! If you are not using onboard Ethernet you can disable it in BIOS. Same with COM and Parallel ports, and perhaps onboard VGA if you have discrete card.
That will save some resources and make system a little bit more responsive.
