Best option for me? (NF4 mobo)

Postby NF-Rich » Tue Jan 26, 2010 4:22 pm

Hi all,

Thanks for you continued support on the NF4 platform, I never realised such work was still going on.

I'm still using my socket939 system and love it, howver, I'm always looking to get the most out of it so when I see posts of 'perfomance and optimized' my eyes 8-O

My system:

DFI-Expert NF4 motherboard
2 SATA Hard-drives. Not in Raid mode, just normal. i.e. 1 drive used for windows the other storage.
I use the on-board 'marvel' LAN for internet access but have a seperate soundcard.

Up until now i have just used the nforce drivers on the nvidia site.

Would I see any benifit from uses other drivers, if so, do i need to do a reinstall,

Again, many thanks to all!

Thanks for reply,

Yep, I know about nvidias lack of support. But I was referring to the nforce drivers on this site. I see there are quite a few 'flavours' here and was wondering what would be best for my set-up (as shown above).

If you can give any help that'll be great :)

Many thanks,
NF-Rich
