I have two ASUS P5N7A-VM boards that seem to share a common problem with ASUS boards in general, both have the same mac address.
The BIOS does not have an option to change it and the AFUDOS util from ASUS does not provide setting the mac address either. Those AFUDOS versions that do have the mac address option are for Intel boards and do not work on this one (yes, I've tried them).
So far the only other solutions I can find used the AWDFLASH which doesn't work on this bios/board and the DMI utility which again seems to be only a temporary solution for Intel boards (again, tried them).
I can mask/spoof the mac address in Windows but that will not handle the wake on lan option I need and is only in affect when the OS is booted up.
Any other ideas?
