Nice, it really seems like they are supporting this game pretty well so far. The only thing I don't get is the price for the Stone Prisoner DLC. I have all the other DLC packs and they were all right around 400 points (some were free with my pre-order) just like this new one. The Stone Prisoner though is a whopping 1200 points. That's 3 times more then the other DLC's that offer more. The Wardens Keep pack gives you a new base, new armor, a storage chest and a couple hours to finish it for 400 points.

I'll surely get Return to Ostagar when it comes out, this game is a blast so far. The only DLC I'm not getting is the Stone Prisoner, at least till the price comes down to normal.

Ah, I got Shale for free on the Steam pre-order (along with a few other random items), the only DLC I don't have at the moment is the Wardens Keep, but I'll pick that up at some point.

It is a good quest though... :sweet:

Stone Prisoner should come free with every new copy of the game.

Some pre-orders did, some didn't, it depended on where you bought the game. Mine came with the Feral Wolf Charm, the Memory Band, and the Blood Dragon Armor. These are good items and all, but I would have much rather gotten either Stone Prisoner or Wardens Keep as the free DLC. Wardens Keep was dirt cheap so that was fine, it was worth the couple of bucks to buy it. Eventually I'll get the Stone Prisoner one, I just don't think I want to pay 1200 points for it, that's like $10.

On that note, nice Screen Shots Powerarmor. Up until recently I was using a similar party to yours. My main is a warrior as well, but I went Sword/Shield. I had the Mabari, Leliana, and Morrigan with me but I recently swapped out Morrigan for Wyne. It reduced my combat power, but man Wyne really put me over the top. I set all her tactics to just stay back and keep the party healed and she's awesome. Every time I get down 25% of my health she heals me up to full, I haven't used a health potion in quite a while. If I get to 25% or less she uses lifeward on me which boosts me back up to full, she's pretty awesome in my party. I'm a tank character, I use Taunt to keep all the bad guys focused on me with Wyne healing me. Lilianna and Chompy (my dog) just tear people apart while they're trying to kill me. Good times!

I really enjoy all the different party possibilities with this game. After I finish it, I think I'm going to start again as a dual wield stealth based rogue. That sounds like fun.

Well that's pretty wack. I was under the impression they all came with it :(

I still haven't picked him up anyway. I haven't focused on this game as much as I should've.

Wynne is definitely a better healer, but I find if I give Morrigan the healing ability it works out nearly as good, besides I prefer her offensive with Blizzard and other big AoE spells (opening a door in stealth mode so you can view the room, then coming back out and shutting it again so that you can cast Blizzard into a room is pretty funny and a cheap way to kill.. ).

The only party member who I seem to take all the time is LeLiana, as she is my main lockpicker/trap disarmer and ranged attacker, all the others can happily drift in and out now...

This game is still big though..!, I've been playing nearly 40 hours now, and only 33% complete... :o, next quest up for me is Orzammer, then I think I can go back to the Arl to call a landsmeet (as I've already got three emissaries in my camp). I also notice now how there are 'so' many branches/choices in the game regarding dialogue, I'm sure I've screwed up a few times with sarcastic answers and missed stuff...

So, I looked through my Dragon Age case again, and it turns out that it did come with a code for Stone Prisoner after all. I didn't see it because it was on the back of the Paper that had the code for the Blood Dragon Armor. I guess it pays to pay attention, good thing I didn't buy it for 1200 points already. I would have been p*** when I found the code after paying that much for it.

I just finished the Deep Roads in the Dwarven City, that was a heck of a lot of fun. I find though that from time to time I come across a fight that's just so frustratingly hard that I want to scream. Most of the fights I handle pretty easily, but the path to the Anvil had some fights that were just crazy hard. Does anyone else have a problem with getting stunned all the time? Even if you amp up your mental resistance, they just use a spell that holds you or a spider web or something. Frustrating playing a fighter when the bad guys always keep you from being able to swing.

So far this game is great, I'm at almost 40 hours of game play and no where near finishing it. This game was definitely worth the money, game of the year so far, hands down. And since there is only a month left in the year I doubt anything better is going to come out.
