Lol yes, I think you gained a second on me cos my laptop runs with single channel DDR333.
Curious to check my Gf's existing PentiumD 2.8Ghz with DDR2 800 against the new 45n Dual Core E6300 2.8Ghz with DDR2 1066 I picked up for it.

The PentiumD would be about 4x slower I'd imagine...
Crikey, overclocking the Atom 330 to 2Ghz makes a fair difference :-

My venerable Opty180 came in at 31 seconds. 62 seconds with only one thread so it scales well as a benchmark.

66.437s Pretty much what I was expecting. im over clocked to 2.6 but doesnt seem to help. Made me want that I5 even more now!

My Gf's Pentium D 915 (OC to 2949Mhz) comes in at 57.79 seconds.

Gf's new E6300 comes in at 29.1 nearly half the old CPU's score.

New CULV mini-laptop comes in at 61.573 seconds. (2x1.3Ghz).
Update. Changed the power settings from balanced to high performance and score went to 59.734 seconds.
Nearly as fast as that old dual core pentium of the GF's clocked at 2.9Ghz.
