Hi end0,end0 wrote:After reading your hopefull post about performing a clean install without any additional drivers, I downloaded the Windows 7 X86 RC1 Build7100 ISO and burn't a fresh DVD, then proceeded to boot from the DVD.
However the setup can only see the discs in my RAID Array and I still had to load the SATA_IDE driver v9.98 to partition/format my RAID Array and complete the install.
My setup is as follows:
DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus
4 x WD 74GB Raptors in Raid0(32KB Stripe)

You may try both options, but I doubt, that you will succeed by loading the driver for any device, which is declared to be not compatible.k03n wrote:hi Fernando, same exact as end0 (dfi ultra sli-d nforce 4 with Raid 0)
I tried installing Windows 7 RC with nForce SATA_IDE driver v9.98 for Vista (http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?nnz32mmlwzm) but I still can't see RAID partition(s)
Do I have to load only compatible driver or all ?
