nForce IDE drivers v10.6.0.16 for Vista/Win7

After reading your hopefull post about performing a clean install without any additional drivers, I downloaded the Windows 7 X86 RC1 Build7100 ISO and burn't a fresh DVD, then proceeded to boot from the DVD.
However the setup can only see the discs in my RAID Array and I still had to load the SATA_IDE driver v9.98 to partition/format my RAID Array and complete the install.

My setup is as follows:
DFI LANPARTY UT NF4 SLI-DR Venus
4 x WD 74GB Raptors in Raid0(32KB Stripe)

thank you for having tested a clean install of Win7 Build 7100 onto your nForce4 AMD RAID array and for having reported about the results.
Bad news: The Win7 in-box nForce SataRAID drivers still are not able to detect all NF4 RAID arrays.
Good news: Nevertheless it is still possible to get Win7 RC1 installed onto an nForce4 AMD RAID system after having loaded the nForce SAT_IDE driver v9.98.

You may try both options, but I doubt, that you will succeed by loading the driver for any device, which is declared to be not compatible.
Are you going to install Win7 onto a RAID partition?
Have you tried the "LEGACY Patch CD"?

@ all Win7 and Vista users with an nForce chipset mainboard:

The newest available Pre-RTM versions of Win7 (since Build 7229) do contain new nForce IDE drivers v10.6.0.16 dated 05/12/2009.
The associated INF files do contain the same DeviceID's as the previous Win7 inbox nForce IDE driver versions.
