What about the Win7 x64 in-box nForce Ethernet drivers? Didn't they work for you?
Another option are the Vista x64 nForce Ethernet drivers v67.89.
My current system:

My previous system:
DFI nF4 Ultra-D (BIOS: 2006/04/06) | AMD Athlon64 4000+ San Diego | 2x512 MB OCZ PC3200 CL2 Rev.2 Platinum | 2x200 GB Samsung S-ATA II as nForce4 Raid0 | beQuiet!Titan BQT P5-470W-S1.3 | MSI GeForce NX6600GT-TD128E

its strange, theres no drivers built into Win7 for my nf4 nvidia onboard NIC. I wonder if its just me? I'm using Win7 x64 ultimate RTM, and a dfi ut NF4 ultra-d motherboard. no built in drivers with the RC either.

BTW: the password change on this site doesn't work for me.

I installed Windows 7 Professional x86 RTM onto a MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (nForce 3 250GB chipset) and Windows 7 automatically installed the ethernet without a problem.
ASUS Commando | Intel Core2Quad Q6600 | Zalman CNPS9700 | 6GB OCZ Platinum XTC REV.2 PC2-6400 DDR2 800 | HIS Radeon HD 2900XT 512MB | 2x WD Black 500GB| 2x WD Black 640GB | OCZ GameXstream 600w PSU | Antec P182 | 2x Dell 2007WFP | Logitech G5 2nd Gen | Logitech Media Keyboard | Win 7 Ultimate x64

Does anyone have their connection showing as 1GBps speed? I am using Windows 7 RTM, default drivers. It will only show me 100.0 Mbps. I'm pretty sure this is a gigabit ethernet jack. But I don't know who makes it or where I can find a driver which will enable the full gigabit speed.

Yes I had the same problem as you. Running a Asus A8N-E NF4 Ultra motherboard too. I'd have to reboot to try my luck at having the network connection working. Usually it says "Device cannot start"

The fix is:
1) Go into Device Manager
2) Under "Network Adapters", Double click "NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller" to bring up "Properties" window.
3) Under "Power Management" tab, UNCHECK "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
4) Reboot

Sometimes I will still get an odd device which fails to start. I think there are some IRQ issues.

i don't see why that would be enabled in the first place. anyway, thanks.
