Are you still using the SMP client? If I recall correctly, there is no way to run the SMP client in service mode... even though it asks you during initial config.

I am not running anything yet. I don't mind if it runs from the tray or just out of the way. I just can't have it running minimized on the task bar. It will just get in my way. I guess if I haven't found a way by this weekend I am just going ol' skool.

use an application called TrayIt! to minimise to tray. you can move it out of the way even more by hiding it permanently via the taskbar notification area.

My dog mauled my gaming rig while it was on a testbed outside of the case; but my folding rigs are still up and running.

It's okay, the funny thing is how it happened... My sister was playing the guitar and it scared the dog so he ran under the desk and got tangled in all those cables. The pc fell to the floor while he managed to free himself.

If the 8800 is broken, I might a good enough reason to buy a decent ati/amd card and get on the gpu folding bandwagon.

...at least the dog is okay

Thank goodness...!

I'm waiting on the new GPU client also, I think I'll see how it is first, and then I'll probably buy a HD 3870 for it later.
