opinions of the coolermaster rc-1000

Postby mini » Sat Sep 22, 2007 6:26 pm

Looking into replacing my tired Lanli pc60, want something with decent cooling and is quiet. the coolermaster rc-1000 seems to fit the bill pretty well. My only concerns are that it is negative pressure, and the 8800gts cooler is designed around positive pressure: will this make much of a difference? The only other concern is the cost would like to know if others think it is worth the money.

Greetings!

What kind of finish does that case have? Looks great.

Only potential issue I see is the connection of the 4/8 pin cable from PSU to MB.

gun metal on the outside, aluminium on the inside, I think the 4 pin can be run round the back of the mobo with an extension cable, well that is the plan anyway. This is going to be my first real attempt at cable management, want to get it pretty clean looking. Hopingto drop the CPU temps alot as well, goingto clean up and reapply the artic silver.
