An 8600GT has twice the amount of shaders of the 8500GT (which still isn't a lot tbh...!).
Good performance though for a low'ish end card. |

Yes, cause of the ddr2, and cause i was not able to find a review.. and found many cons realated to ddr2 memmory

Found some kind of test!  ...it's not the 256 mb...but clears the view regarding to 8500GT's performance!

Unless you have to have a nvidia or directX10 for this kind of money you'd be better off with an ATI x1950 pro. A friend of mine just picked up a Visiontek at Circuit City a few weeks back on sale for $69 after rebate.
Here's a pretty cheap one.. $109
