Just want to share be experience on getting this to install. I got a MSI K9N2 Platinum (NF750a) and drivers installed and seem to be working well. A few bumbs across the road. Number one the Bios does need to be set to AHCI in order drivers to install, and second was a nice BSOD after I set the controller to AHCI. It appears the Vista AHCI driver may be disabled if not in use.....thanks MS another few hours of my life missing  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/922976 Thanks for the great work Fernando!

Questions:
1. Which Vista version (32bit or 64bit) are you running?
2. Which of my driverpacks did you install?

Thanks for having reported these informations, which may help other users.

@ all NF4-7 chipset mainboard users, who are running or want to run Vista:

The first post of this thread has not been updated for a long time, because I didn't find any nForce Vista driver, which seemed to be worth to put it into my Vista Remix driverpacks or to create a new one.
Although the situation has not fundamentally changed, the existence of a new NVIDIA HDAudio driver was the opportunity to revise the text of the start post and to slightly update my Vista Remix driverpacks.
Changelog:
- removed: not needed SMU and HDAudio Driver of the "Special NF4 RAID WHQL Driverpacks" (32/64bit)
- updated: HDAudio Driver (now: v1.00.0.50)

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Have fun!
Fernando

Thanks for your generous offer.
You may give me the link, but I don't think, that I will update and reupload all my driverpacks just for being up-to-date with the NVIDIA HDAudio driver, which is only usable with some special mainboards.

Ah, I won't bother then. As soon as I do, nVidia will probably release an official notebook driver with newer ones then mine anyways.

You are right - I just got the HDAudio Driver v1.00.0.55 (WHQL) dated 06/26/2009.
Since this is a bigger step from v1.00.0.50 to v1.00.0.55 and it are just 6 packages to be repacked and reuploaded, I have done it.

@ all:
Due to the fact, that I got access to a much newer version of the HDAudio Driver, I have just updated those packages again, which contain it. Nothing else has been changed.

Have fun!

100% agreed.
Maybe we have to create new Vista driverpacks by our own:
Code: Select all
Ethernet Driver (v73.0.7) customized by Fernando
SATAIDE Driver (v11.1.0.29) created and customized by Fernando
SATARAID Driver (v11.1.0.29) customized by Fernando
RAIDTOOL Application (v11.1.0.23) "Sedona"
SMU Driver (v1.67) customized by Fernando
SMBus Driver (v4.6.9) WHQL
HDAudio Driver (v1.00.0.55) WHQL
optional IDE driver registry cleaner (made by TwL)
Installer (v6.14)
What do you think about this combination?
PS- where did you find it??
Here, it's the first GeForce package on top.
