That could be why certain groups have been saying Nvidia has backed the wrong version of this tech.

Nvidia gives 3D pr0n the horn
...
With the glasses on, things just pop out at you. Sometimes in pairs. You almost have to duck to avoid getting hit with large silicone objects from Silicone Valleys. This is technology at it's finest, and could only be brought to you by Nvidia.

n 2D, you sometimes lose track of who's leg that is popping out of the ball of people in that orgy. In 3D, you know exactly who's leg it is, and how close to the camera it is. Nvidia makes bad 1980's pr0n spring to life. ATI can't do this, not a chance. Things are so real you almost want to take a shower afterwards.

So there you go, Nvidia and Glacier together make adult content jump out at you. If you wanted to know the real reason they are pushing this technology so hard, now you know. 3D pr0n and Nvidia, what more can you ask for?

Nvidia ordered 10,000 Samsung 120Hz monitors
To push the technology

Our well-informed sources have told us that Nvidia has pre-ordered the first 10,000 3D monitors from Samsung simply, as it wants to push its 3D glasses, an ex-3DFX technology.

NVIDIA GeForce 3D Vision review @ Guru3D

3D stereoscopic imagery does not end with playing games. There is a big world out there loaded with 3D photos and movies, this kit can be utilized for that as well.

And that has to be my conclusion, the GeForce 3D stereo kit is done well, really well. It is very complete and well thought through... if you feel it is worth the money, then sure... it is fun, oh heck yeah, a lot of fun!
