Recently I've invested in a few 8 series nVidia cards, 8800 GTS (640mb) and two 8600 GTS (SLi mode). So.. I have a 7950 GX2 lying around right now just looking pretty.. soon to be collecting dust. Truthfully I should keep it and sell the ATi x1300 Pro in my daughters comp, but the most intense game she plays in "Sims2" (lol???), and the x1300 handles the Sims2 just fine.. so I'm gonna sell the one that can bring in more $$$ (cause I need some more $$$ to get 8950 GX2 when it's released).
It's a "eVGA 7950 GX2 1024mb (512mb x 2) dual gpu" graphics card, and they are'nt as commonly available as they used to be. I purchase it in July 2006, so it's 10 months old, it's still considered a very fast card and can handle any game currently out and future games like CrySis / QuakeWars:ET. I was running it about 10 days ago until both my 8600 GTS's arrived, and I was playing STALKER on it @ max quality textures, max view distance, max lighting distance, max AA, and max AF settings and getting an average of 70.2 FPS. I truley hate to part with it... it's been a great card. Runs just as good as it did the day I got it.
Selling Price >> $225.00 (including shipping / usa only!)
**take check or money order**
Also, alot of people probably do not know this, but "spacer kits" are available for the 7950 GX2, what the spacer kit does is give about another 5.5 mm clearance between the two gpu boards.. benefits of this? Lower temps on the 2nd gpu, makes both gpu's run @ about the same temps. Currently idel temps are 49șC (gpu #1) and 58șC (gpu #2), with the spacer kit, they'll run about 49șC/52șC. It does'nt run hot, but alot of people feel both gpu's run in sequence better @ the same core temps. Spacer kits are about $20.00 online. Spacer kits also allow installation of 'some' very low profile aftermarker gpu heatsinks.

| I was quad, have'nt updated my profile/sig.. right now I'm running two nVidia 8800's in SLi. I've got (4) PC's .. one has two 8800's, one has two 8600's, one has 'one' 7950 GX2, and the last has an ATi x1300. I would've stayed with a quad setup, but only two of my comps are SLi capable, and they have the 8 series. The comp w/ the x1300 is my daughter's, she does'nt need a 7950 GX2, so I decided to sell one. |

| Now just let me know when you decide to sell the other GX2, This way I have spare! But seriously...I don't know if EVGA is going to fix my dead GX2..They will probably just send me an 8800 series card as a replacement. Only time will tell. |

It arrived today! I didn't get home from work till 10pm. But not tired enough to wait! LOL, It's up and running just fine. Going to wait till i get some sleep to remove stock HSF and put water blocks on.
But thanks so much! I know it took awhile. But I promise to be ready sooner whaen you decide to part with the other GX2. |
