Do a search for "2k" and delete all sections that contain "2k" in the headers (such as the "copyfiles" section), then delete the headers themselves (the stuff with "[ ]" around it). Then just re-run the installer and choose to install the ethernet drivers and it should work fine (because the entries for "xp" are still within the .inf, so the right files will get copied).
Edit: I just noticed that I have the same board that you do on my NF590 system, so I'm sure the drivers will work fine for you, if you do the simple modification correctly.
