What happened at second reboot?
If you should not be able to solve the problem, you may try to "update" the in-box nForce drivers. At first step I would run the installer of my 32bit Vista "NF4-7 SATA Performance Pack" (should be done with Vista compatibility mode) by just choosing the "MediaShield"/"Storage Drivers" install options. This way you might get the modded nForce IDE drivers v9.99.09 installed. After the update, but before you reboot, you should check, if all NVIDIA related devices - even the hidden ones - really have taken the 9.99.09 drivers.

This is an interesting test result.Phorze wrote:Here's how i managed to install on my DFI NF4 SLI. I worked both on x86 and x64.
When you are prompted, load the WHQL 998 drivers, from the SATAIDE map ONLY.
You then should have a working install, with 10.6.0.3 as raid drivers and 998 as sataide drivers.

You don't need an account. Just go to http://www.rapidshare.com and upload the zipped drivers. Then copy the link and post it here. That's all.venejo wrote:Fernando, I have zipped the 32-bit drivers from my fresh Windows 7 7048 build today. I don't have an account (rapidshare, mediafire) to post them... Where can i send them if you still want them?

Thank you very much. Your assistance to present the actual in-box nForce IDE drivers of Windows 7 is much appreciated.venejo wrote:I've send the drivers to your mailbox.

How did you try to get the driver installed? It will not work from scratch, because the CAT file is missing (no WHQL certification).RanCorX2 wrote:10.6.0.8 won't install for me on vista x64
"Driver is not intended for this platform".
