AdvModDev,

I was looking through your modded 67.89 and noticed some entries in regards to the NF2/NF3 controllers that I am not sure are the best fit. The settings to FlowControl and PHYReset are the 2 in particular.

I say this because after pouring over many releases that include the NF2/3/4 controllers, I have found that all newer drivers have a more refined setting for FlowControl. There is now a BasicFlowControl option which the NF4 is always set to, and the NF2/3/4 is set to in the beta 67.81 driver which was found on Fujitsu-Siemens site. I would think BasicFlowControl would be the proper setting for the modern driver wouldn't you?

Also, I have seen no ethernet driver that includes the PHYReset entry for the NF2/3/4 Gigabit conroller. Is there a reason you have included it?

Not trying to undo or usurp AdvModDev's work here, but it would appear he has been absent for a while so I'll will try to pick up a bit where he left off.

I am hosting, from my Skydrive, a nForce 1-3 WHQL XP 32-bit package that consist of the latest WHQL drivers for the NF1-NF3. There is a small surprise in them compared to the OP's, I have IDE/RAID driver 5.21 WHQL and I use a version of the RAIDTOOL which should properly install using the installer.

It is located here:
http://cid-d615883081a9d7ea.skydrive.li ... xx5v2vY%24

Package Contains:
This WinXP 32-bit nForce 1-3 WHQL UDA driver package contains the below components:

Audio Driver (v4.62) WHQL
Audio Utility (v4.51)
PreNRM Ethernet Driver (v4.36) WHQL
NRM Ethernet Driver (v50.11) WHQL
GART Driver (v4.36) WHQL
Memory Controller Driver (v3.38) WHQL
SMBus Driver (v4.67) WHQL
Sata/Pata IDE Driver (v5.21) WHQL
Sata/Pata RAID Driver (v5.21) WHQL
RAIDTOOL Application (v6.63)
Installer (v4.46)

Please provide feedback, especially in regards to the NRM ethernet, IDE, and RAIDTOOL.

I've just tried them on an MSI K7N2 Delta2 LSR, going alright at the moment but nvatabus.sys BSOD'd for me. I had to replace it and idecoi.dll with my previous versions from AndyR's pack using UBCD4Win's PE environment to be able to boot.

Are you using RAID of any kind? Did it BSOD after initial reboot or were you running fine for a while before it happened?

Thanks d2thez! :sweet:
Is it the same package, just updated Sata/Pata IDE Driver WHQL and Sata/Pata RAID Driver WHQL to v5.21, and downgraded RAIDTOOL Application to v6.63? The Network management tools are missing?

There is no time for me right now to check them out, but I look forward to get the new installation the next few weeks ...

Compared to the official 5.10 nvidia package, the IDE/SATAIDE, RAID, RAID Manager, Ethernet, and Audio drivers are newer. All are WHQL. And yes, NAM is not included because it never did anything but cause problems for these older chipsets.

Do you happen to run RAID at all Haubi?

No, I don't use RAID at all.
Sorry, I really don't know why RAID systems make sense in the home area furthermore. Except for playing around with ... ? :-B
