miquelmartos... You Rock! I was having the same problem on the same motherboard and I downloaded the file you were sharing and copied it to a floppy disk and it worked like a charm. You also fixed the initial problem that I was attempting to solve and that is updating my bios, which started this whole mess to begin with. Awesome and thanks for sharing with the rest of us.

Yesterday I happened the same problems as you.
Update Bios with the biostar windows bios utility and then appeared Bios Checkum error.
Lot of trays, lot of bioses, lot of awdflash version and always errors!
Finaly works with this combination.

Award flash utility ver: 8.20a
Settings: /py /sn /cd /cp /cc /LD
Note this. --> "/LD" --> Destroys CSMOS Checksum And No System Halt For First Reboot After Programming.
Bios: N325a826 BF (Lastest).

You can download the .rar file with al these tools at:

Good Luk!

I want to say thank you very much. I had the same issue after trying to upgrade the bios on the NF325-A7. I bought a x1650 pro video card and I have been trying to get it to work. The system will not even POST with the new video card in it. I thought the new BIOS would fix it. Wrong. Well now I am back to square one at least. Once again, thank you. :D

I just wanted to thank miquelmartos, as this procedure saved me as well. I even tried the same switches with a later version of the flash bios prog, but it didn't work. However, the version provided in the * download worked great.

Thanks a million!

I know this post is old but I figure it's worth a shot. I'm trying to repurpose an old machine I put together that happens to have this board and I used the update utility to update the the most current bios version and am having the same issue. I created a bootable CDROM (as I do not have a floppy) with awdflash and the bios version.

However, my machine isn't posting. It's an immediate checksum error and searching for floppy. I was using a usb keyboard so I got an old ps2 but I can't get it to go into the bios so that I can change the boot sequence. I've tried del, f8, f2, f1. I can't figure it. As soon as I hit the power button I'm hitting a key on the keyboard. Still I immediately hear the beeps (before the monitor even comes on) and nothing. Search for floppy and nothing I try on the keyboard seems to make a difference.

Thanks in advance for any response.

Reset your BIOS to default settings and see what it does. Normally you can continue without a floppy when you get that error by pressing F1 on your keyboard. You could also try to remove all the hardware, e.g. harddisk, burner, memory, graphic card and see if you get any beeps then.
Old, but still working:
Asus K8N nForce 3 (Bios: 2006.03.23) | AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (Clocked: 2.20Ghz) | 3x 1024MB KVR400X64C3A (Clocked: 466Mhz) | 2x 200GB Western Digital S-ATA II as nForce 3 Raid 0 | ATI Saphire X1650 Pro 512MB DDR3

Reset it with the jumper on the motherboard so it gets back the default settings, since im guessing you cant login into the BIOS of your system.
