New processor and video card

I'm thinking of upgrading my system. I wish I could manage with buying just a new processor and a video card. Here are the CPU's my motherboard supports:

Which one is the best for gaming? Athlon 64 FX60? I assume the list is correct and there are no CPU's missing.
If I buy another 7900GT to run the cards in SLI, does it have to be Club3D?
Or instead of SLI, would buying a whole new video card be a smarter option?
Or should I ditch the motherboard and buy a whole new system?

How much are you willing to spend to upgrade your gfx and cpu? And what about for a whole new system?

No advice? Anyone? I know now that current nVidia drivers support different cards in SLI as long as the GPU's are identical.
