Most likely biggest change will be Sempron Support. I believe the nvidia system utility should also be supported now.

I'll be leaving my fingers crossed for more stuff. Though I've been using the 1008 beta5 for ages now. Just flashed the final and noticed no difference... yet. I'm still able to go my default OC. Will try higher/tigher timings tomorrow morning.

Finally. nVidia system utility works now. As well it looks like it has SATA bios 4.2.47 (which i had but was worried it would revert to an older version)

Does System Utility really work?
A7N8X-D 2.0 here. 1008 BIOS.
When I try to change fsb on the fly machine freezes.
I can pull out some data, voltages, DIMM info, etc, but changing fsb was not fun
Is there some trick?

Edit: I tried to back down FSB from 334 to 266

I keep getting a bios file check sum error with this file and it wont let me flash.I have redownloaded it and same thing.I am using the built in flash utility that came with the board,never could get the awdflash utility to work.Any ideas?

got it to go,seems i had a bad floppy.

still only have basic controls to the nvidia system utility,anybody get full controls?

Support for the NVIDIA System Utility has obviously been enhanced on this BIOS, with much more system information being available, however it is obiously far from complete support as it does not support the ability to adjust voltages or fan speeds.

Although I was able to use the FSB adjustment, it was a far less capable of handling the changes than the BIOS is. I managed to up the FSB from 400 to 404 using the nv system utility - but any more than that and the machine hangs (I know that at least up to 210/420 works fine with my current settings if set in BIOS).

Otherwise the BIOS is fine, my machine seems just as stable as it was with the 1007 - if you need the SATA/SCSI boot order selection, the latest SATA BIOS or just want to see the NVIDIA System Utility information it's great.
