I'm getting fairly tired of ASUS, they are becoming a series of bad jokes:
1) Their website was down last night. You'd think for a big international company they'd have figured out how to stay up even when upgrading.
2) Most if not all of the URLs on this site pointing to BIOSs and such on their site are no longer valid. Not just the location but the entire domain name. You'd think they could keep the domain name and redirect you to their new domain name.
3) Their site is slow! Their downloads are slow too. Seems like they have enforced throttling to regulate access to their sites to modem speeds. No matter if I choose USA, China, Europe it's all done at dial up modem speed.
4) Their site is unlinkable for the most part. So it's almost, if not always, impossible to say download the bios from "this" address at their site. Instead you have to go through their main page and slowly navigate to the needed location. Most of the time it's confusing and impossible to find.
5) Their site is not kept up-to-date. You go to download a driver and find the latest version. You think all is fine. Then, just by chance, you read the related links because you are being very thorough, and notice they have more up-to-date drivers than the one officially listed and they say you must use them for your CPU.
6) Their awdflash.exe isn't user friendly. Only at the end of a time consuming process will it tell you there is a mismatching "BIOS-lock string". Why couldn't this test be put at the start instead of 3 minutes in?
7) Why does the latest BIOS not match? You'd think they could put a little utility together that looks at your bios and sytem to tell you which BIOS should be downloaded. Or better yet tell you multiple options based on what you have. The utility should also tell you what you have.

I'm getting tired of jotting down their problems. Just this last one for now. How come there are no comments in any of their forums? Isn't this just a little odd? You'd think ASUS would have a bit more common sense!
