...wasnt blaming you ;)...lol.. and as far as bios ive been using the uber1004 since it came out havent changed cuz the newer 1005 i heard its not as good for OC'n..maybe I should try reflashing the 1004uber and see if it changes ...maybe its corrupt or something ..lol..might explain why im able to run at 11*200 @ stock 1.65v now and before it required more volts..but everything is stable where its at ...the only thing i changed is the MBM version..I also installed the 5.3.2.0 again and it still reported the odd lower diode temp..i think tonight ill try to reinstall the 1004 uber..and see it it goes back to the way it was...ill post back..

Hmmm...assuming the sensors are close to being correct - it should be pointed out that Barton's have a larger die than the T-Breds. Large Die = More Surface Area = Better Heat Dispersal.

I wouldn't worry about it. But if you plan on OCing, you're going to want to get a better Heatsink. (And the high socket temps could be the result of poor airflow near the processor - tho your Case temp reading seems very good, perhaps all the cool air is getting trapped at the bottom of your case?)

hi nerbil thanks for the quick reply. the exhaust in back is right next to the hsf and the psu and blow hole is pulling about 64 cfm so I dont think the cool air is getting trapped in the bottom . I do have a little 12v sunon fan on the north bridge though and thanks again for sharing your knowledge. :D

Your temps are fine - nothing is too high. :-)

If you plan on OCing tho, you may want to invest in a better cooler (Thermalright SLK-800, Vantec Aeroflow, etc...)
