I just ran into a similar problem. Here is what you can do.

First, I assume you are running your bus at 200Mhz. If that is so, set the ram timings percent to something less than 100%. Initially you might try 67%, which will run your ram at either 133Mhz or 267Mhz (depending on the other settings you use for your ram). If that works, try increasing the percentage to 75%. If that works, go to 83%.

If you need to exact settings for the CAS and what-not, let me know and I'll send them to you. Fortunately the AN35 Ultra automatically adjusted the settings when I changed the percent. I have to re-boot to read them off.

To make sure things are working correctly I recommend that you create a boot diskette with the free Microsoft memory diagnostic tool from here:

http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

Yes, it's from Microsoft, but it actually worked. I ran the brief default test until I had a good run, then after each tweak. When I found what appeared to be the best settings I ran the extended test overnight. If even one error occurs you need to resolve it - either by trying other settings or trying to determine if the RAM is no good (if it was good in the last system, it is not likely it got fried moving it to the new one if you were reasonably careful).

One final note. The AN35 Ultra is a good board. I would not be quick to part with mine. I was able to set the rate to 83% and the CAS tRB and other settings were adjusted automatically to working values. At the same time I was able to run the system bus at 200Mhz so my Athlon XP+ 3200 could run at 2200Mhz with default settings (it uses 11x clock rate). So while I wish I could run the memory at 400mHz I am satisfied with the results running it at 333mHz and the CPU at 400mHz with stability. The system is a screamer now!

How do I adjust the percentage? Where in the setup mode do I do that? My FSB is set at 166mhz right now.
