Hey guys, Im considering a new rig, but dont want all the fuss that comes with a mobo loaded with tons of crap. Been thinking the 650I Ultra mobo, as I wont be using SLI or anything. I also dont use raid, so, just 2-3 HDs run as single drives.
What things have you noticed on these mobos? Worth the effort? Or just go to Intel chipset.
I noticed that EVGA (or what ever its called) has alot of quality issues in their manufactoring. So getting a mobo that isnt DOA is a 50/50 chance. To bad!
Any input at all, would be appreciated! |

I guess the brand doesn't matter at all, they are all built by nvidia.
Since you don't use SLI, raid and all that fancy functions, 650i ultra is a cheap mobo to have, you may want to add a fan on the chipset heatsink |
