And no, it's not another "you didn't set correct option in BIOS" thing because I tried everything, USB HDD, USB-FDD, USB-CDROM, USB-ZIP, USB Legacy Devices-On, Order of booting...yada yada...everything.
AND yes, USB stick boots from every other computer that I tried to plug it in, including numerous computers on my work. Tried with HP software, then with with some special shareware utilities for making bootdisc and format it as USB-ZIP, then USB-HDD...USB-FDD... No go. And yes, USB port is working fine.
I'm not asking for a solution, I think that there is no help because my conclusion is that F3 BIOS in this motherboard is f* up regarding USB booting and not working! I'm just curious if there is anybody who successfully booted EX38-DS4 fw.F3 with any kind of USB stick? |
