EPoX EP-8RDA+ (drivers)

I need drivers for a EP-8RDA+. The FTP server at EPoX has been down for 48 hours that I know of.

I went to driverguide but they didn't have what I needed.

Does anybody know if these Nvidia drivers will work?

(1) Will the sound work since it mentions something about it on the nvidia page.

(2) I have another video card installed in the machine, do I have to remove the drivers for the on-board video before I install the Nvidia card drivers?

They should work fine. I used to have the same mobo (fine hardware). I doesn't have onboard video IIRC, but it is a good idea to uninstall any video drivers so that the AGP Gart driver will install correctly.

First download the driver. Next uninstall any nForce drivers and video card drivers. Install the newer nForce drivers then the video drivers. You should also download and run the latest directX package to make sure every thing is hunky dory.

Welp, someone that I knew screwed up the installation of his WinXP, so it will be a fresh Install.

(1) Is the GART driver included the on-board video or is that for AGP?

(2) Should I uninstall the GART driver before installing the Nvidia Gforce driver

(3) Is that driver package the same or better than the original?

(4) Will that package have sound included?

The Gart driver is a AGP interface driver is included in the nForce unified driver as well as the sound driver. I think EPoX had the very same driver on their site. It is a good driver set. You need the Gart installed before the Video driver.

1) Install nForce 5.10
2)Install Video Driver
3)Install DirectX
