|
|

The BIOSTAR website states that the fastest Athlon X2 CPU you can put in an NF4UL-A9 is an X2 4800+. Is this really true, or is it just what was the fastest available when they made the page, and they haven't updated it.
Anyone have an X2 5200+ or faster working?
Anything else I should know about using a current X2 processor before I go and purchase one?
Thanks,
- Bob |

That's a S939 board so the fastest CPU it should support is an FX-60 (2.6Ghz/DC), technically they are right though, as the 4800+ is the fastest 'X2' you could put in there.
The 5200+ is an AM2 CPU, not a S939. |

Whoops. My bad. I thought that there were X2 processors faster than 4800+ in S939, but now that I look for them I don't see any.
