Over 500 possible endings for Fallout 3? :-

Quote:
Bethesda's Pete Hines speaks with TVG about the upcoming Fallout 3. It makes for a quite interesting read, particularly regarding the factors that affect the end game, where Hines shares with us that they are nudging past 500 different variations you could experience in the 20-100 hours of gamplay, "(the) number of variations is over 500, but that's of all the different permutations you can have of each different variable and what you did at each point. I don't know how many of those there are (I haven't gone back to look), but it takes into account any number of things you've done from early in the game, right up to when the game ends - it takes into account all of that stuff," says Hines.

Bethesda: Fallout 3 is better than oblivion, no doubt about it :-

Quote:
"I have no doubts in my mind that, at its core and for everything that it provides that Fallout is a better game than Oblivion was. For sure...I don’t have any doubts that on the whole, and I think this is a belief universally shared on the team that Fallout is a better game," said Pete.

Greetings!

Fallout 3 Interview: Pete Hines

We got a chance to go see Fallout 3 in action recently, and obviously we couldn't turn it down. Though the event itself was the usual blur of excitement and curiously small burgers on cocktail sticks, we bemusedly came to the next day to find that not only had we done a hands-on preview of Fallout 3, but we'd also done an interview with Bethesda's Pete Hines.

I have the trailer, it's quite hilarious. The game itself looks very violent/bloody, might pick this up.

I'm ashamed to admit I still haven't played 1 or 2 yet Embarassed started 1 but never got very far. Mind you, I can't be too ashamed since I've played and finished its precursor, Wasteland. Greatest RPG EVER Cool

Greetings!

Regarding what kind of DRM Fallout 3 will use:
Shack: Similar question in the sense that it's an issue that can be overblown. What kind of copy protection will be included on the PC version of Fallout 3?
Pete Hines: Pretty similar to what we did for Oblivion, which was--we basically don't do any--we do the mildest form possible.
