I've hooked everything up just like usual. I put in my ram (listed below) and there is no onscreendisplay just a beep every 6 seconds. Usually I would think this would be ram but I'm used to a 3 beeps for ram..

So i tried some old ram I have laying around some OCZ plat el rev. 2. Well with this ram the beep doesn't happen but still no OSD...

This has been tried with my 6800GT and with the onboard video... Any ideas? I can't think of anything I'm missing.

I've tried it with everything unplugged but the keyboard, tried with out the keyboard. I unhook all IDE cables etc.

I tried resetting the cmos jumper for an hour just hoping something was wrong there and nothing happened.

HELPZ Sad I want to get back to smapping *cries*

Oh and also everything runs as normal though just no OSD. Like the fans spin, then 4-8 seconds later the HDD's start spinning... So it sounds like its running just no OSD. I've tried 3 different monitors and nothing Sad

You seem to have more than one problem... the first one was the ram, which yo diagnosed and corrected, the other one might be the mobo, if you followed a thorough check of every cable.

Well, for completeness sake check if the IDE/SATA cables are well seated, and if all the boards and mem are firmly attached to the mobo.

But my guess is that you've got a bad mobo.

I just now finished up with their assembly, testing, disassembly, and reboxing.

I have to package them for transit yet and they'll be at the USPS tomorrow(Saturday) morning.

Vumpler, the PM I just sent ya has the pertinent info.

Good solution Thumbs Up

Make sure you've got a proper PSU to feed it, eh? Wink

I had one of these boards. It just ran sooo hot. The graphics chip heatsink would be too hot to touch. It wasnt very stable. In the end I took the heatsink off it and stuck on one of those Akasa blue chipset fans on it using Artic Silver resin.

That seemed to cure it but I didnt trust it so I no longer have it.
