8RDA+ clean caps but boot problem - any advice

I too have had the various boot problems and my mobo seems to fail during hardware detection and health checks, different each time I reboot. After a series of reboots all is fine. I have also noted a low vdd from time to time.

I started to unplug cards and devices and memory. I found out all is fine (reboots with no problem) when I unplug my secondary hard drive (had for over a year). The drive works perfectly in another machine.

anything come to mind as what could be wrong.

okay, I sort of figured out what was wrong...turns out it was my hard drive but this brings me to another question....why wouldn't the motherboard bypass my drive on start up. It didn't register as a second drive...set to "none" on the detection screen, yet it would hang on the device detection and never boot to windows.
