Hi Mei!

I'm interested in your remix and i've a question.

Nvidia audio driver 4.65 of the official 6.86 package seems to be buffer limited, in 2d and 3d (4.62 audio driver: 52/50 2d - 48/40 3d, 4.65 audio driver: 28/20 2d - 16/16 3d).

Do you know if the 4.66 audio driver has the same buffer limitation?

mei and i both know about the limitation and to fix this means breaking whql,.. i have no problems with breaking the whql, and have removed the limitation from the inf as it means less working for everyone else.

MEI's nWare è un set di drivers per tutta la famiglia di chipset nVidia nForce  (il pacchetto dovrebbe supportare tutti i chipset, dal primo nForce 420-D al più recente nForce 590 SLI).

E' stato testato sulle seguenti piattaforme:
- NVIDIA nForce3 250Gb (MSI K8N Neo Platinum)
- NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra (MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum)
- NVIDIA GeForce 6150/nForce 430 (ASUS A8N-VM CSM)

Dai feedback ricevuti, sembra lavorare altrettanto bene su nForce2.
Feedback che sono comunque ben accetti, basta andare nella sezione dedicata del forum di Planet NVIDIA (www.planetnvidia.com).

Domande e risposte frequenti (FAQ)

- D - Il pacchetto è dotato di certificazione WHQL?
- R - Cerco sempre di non invalidare la certificazione WHQL, ma ogni componente del pacchetto che viene modificata la perde automaticamente; ciò non toglie che sia comunque un buon driver.

- D - Posso integrare questi driver nel mio cd di Windows?
- R - Si, è possibile. Ma si tenga presente che i drivers IDE non dispongono di certificazione WHQL, quindi la loro integrazione (tramite setup unattendended o con nLite) non è consigliata. Il driver video potrebbe creare problemi.

I have to implement a real multilanguage structure in the install script before an easy translation.

In fact I hope I could find a friend for a German translation too.

For the request of a "lite" package, or the inclusion of the 92.xx display drivers... For now it is not planned.

nVidia firewall has hardware problem on nForce4 chipset, so don't install the NAM and use a software firewall

I don't know if it's the same for nforce5 platoform...
