I believe my onboard NIC is giving me problems. Every once in a while my internet connection will not work right. Anyone else seen this problem before or have anywhere I can go besides a store to buy a new card? How about the proper hardware settings as I have no idea what to change or try to get more performance or better connections.

Thanks

did you install active armor?

uninstall and reinstall the driver without active armor.

I honestly have never heard of active armor. I have never seen it on my computer for sure. Where would I get the drivers?

exactly what board are you using?

check in add/remove programs and see if it listed.

the driver should be mixed in on the install cd.

have you tried updating the ethernet driver thru windows update.

i'd try a windows driver update in device manager first. if that doesn't help, you can try the latest nforce drivers.

here's the nforce driver download page.

http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp

once the drivers unpack and start to install, you can cancel it out and locate the ethernet drivers in the folder.

i don't know if that is where you issue is though. it's worth a try if it annoys you. Very Happy

maybe someone has also had the problem and has the exact answer.
