C&C Generals and MotoGP work fine here. Tho MotoGP does have annoying sounds by design. I have yet to solve the mystery of the missing/intermittent LINE IN problem in Showshifter and other TV recording apps tho. Dscaler works 100% fine though, so LINE IN definitely works. I'm blaming drivers...

Ahh, I've just verified that Rally Trophy has big issues with EAX or EAX2 enabled. It seems all is not rosy in Soundstorm land.

EDIT: doubly weird situation. It seems I can't reproduce it. But the reverb was cranked up to 1,000% when I tried it earlier. Hmmmm.

A lot of Problems with Grand Prix 4 (crackling and freezes)
With the Realtekdriver Sound works fine but I lost a lot of perfomance.
51 Frames to 34 Frames. Is there a chance to fix it with an digital
Outputmodule for my Board ?

I just tried GTA: Vice City with EAX and the game sounds like gunfire, car engines and everything are muted, except for the music and radio stations. I had to play in Directsound Hardware mode.

Hmm, browsed over this thread a few times... My answer is, all of them. Some take longer than others to crackle but they all eventually degrade into it.

well.. i dont know about you guys.. and girls.. but i dont have cracklling...

im using a ga 7nnxp mcpt... delux edition, im using toslink to a reciever, and headphones on the analog, i get no crackling, even while playing a game and using winamp to do my own soundtrack... dont know whats gong on, i hear a lot about this crackling, i have even expireienced it on my friends a78nx deluxe....

has anybody here who has a 7nnxp from giga had crackling?

With the latest beta driver installed, I no longer have confidence things will be fixed. Maybe it is a crappy design problem with heat problems.

Now using audio driver v3.37
NBA Live 2003 - the speech is hollow
Ghost Recon - the gun fire sounds like sh!t

But no problem when I use audio driver v3.17

I had issues with Ghost Recon as mentioned above. Also,

Serious Sam The Second Encounter

I get all kinds of funky artifacts occasionally. A generally bad showing for the nforce apu & drivers in SS2.
