List of games that have issues with SoundStorm's EAX! Post!

I should mention that I have no problems w/ sound (including EAX) whatsoever in any games (no speaker setup changes, no crackling, no reverb issues, nothing). This includes GTA3, UT2K3, and many others you guys have listed. I am using the 2.03 driver pack, along with an Abit NF7-s.

What boards are you all having these issues? Besides myself, I have a friend who owns another NF7-s, and another who owns the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe, both have no problems with sound whatsoever.

Is this an early mobo revision problem? As all these people (including myself) have the latest available revisions.

I don't think I've got any problems either. Although I probably wouldn't notice if the sound changed to just a load of rubbish because my power supply fans about to die, so it's a bit loud.

just bought a Gigabyte GA-7n400 Pro, and been using it so far on 3 games. No problems whatsoever to date. Tho u guys have me worried now...

Baldurs Gate + TOTSC - The EAX is CRAP!

Better to play without, you can hardly hear the characters with it on

UT2k3 used to mess up soundwise b4, until I used the 5.10.2942.0 drivers.
Everything else I use seems 2 work fine, stil gettin slight bit of notorious buzzin but it seems 2 b related 2 the USB ports.

Jedi Knight II: jedi outcast (crashes w/EAX enabled instantly)
All Unreal Tournament based games (undying, original UT)
AvP (won't even load)
BF1942 (I have to turn off ALL sound to get the game to load a level)
C&C Generals (no sound whatsoever [crackling doesn't count])

I've got Generals working.
The main time I get crackling is with Windows Media Player, and it's quite quiet so it dosn't really interfere with the sound.

Jedi Knight II: jedi outcast (crashes w/EAX enabled instantly)

I had no crash with JK2 and EAX, altho i have some issue as it first works well when duelling then, after one duel when it restarts the sound doesnt work properly anylonger [missing sound fx] and i have to go back to the option panel, disable and re-enable EAX so that it works again...
