For the RECORD, pal, You'll notice **I** have a abit NF7-S, that I **UPGRADED** to what I'm currently using. and NO, it will not keep up, or even compete with my machine. I do LOTS of video encoding, and this NF3, is superior to my old NF2, PERIOD.

oh my, u must be running a 1800 Duron as your sktA cpu, video encoding depends mostly on the cpu and memmory! 8)

Too true.. I recently went from my Barton Mobile OC'ed to 2.6 ghz on my all to pleasent Abit AN7 to a DFI Nforce 4 board with a AMD X2 4400+ Over clocked to 2.65 ghz.. A friend of mine was running an exact copy of my nforce 2 system with an AN7 and besides the X2 and a small Video card upgrade, his AN7 and Barton Mobile combo (like I had before) can hold its own in games with me. I loved my tweaked out Nforce 2. The Nforce 3 I will definately say I didnt like.. Friends had some boards with it, I sticked with my Nforce 2 and got equal or better performance out of it.. If I could have afforded it, I would have kept my Nforce 2 setup arround.. I loved the last revision of SoundStorm on it.
DFI LANPARTY nF4 SLI-DR
AMD x2 4400+ @ 2.6 ghz (for now)
4x 512 mb Geil One TCCD @ DDR550 2.5-4-4-8 (for now)
The rest is trivial for now, will get to it.
