I am formatting my desktop soon but the drivers from ASUS seem to be very outdated. Anyone can advise me on what are the newer chipset drivers that I can use for my motherboard? My previous attempt ended up with me having to reinstall my Windows.

Welcome to NFHQ!
Goto this site:
http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
Product Type: Nforce
Product Series: Nforce 4
Product: Nforce 4 SLI 16X AMD
Operating System: (whatever your running, assuming Windows XP)
Language: English?
Click search, select the Primary Download Mirror. Download the driver, install the driver (short of the Network Management/Firewall thing) and you should be good

Thanks for the link! May I know if the drivers are compatible? The last time I installed drivers from Nvidia, my system started having a lot of issues. It may be because I just downloaded and installed the latest drivers.

It is not easy to give you an answer, when you don't give any information about the Windows OS you want to install.
If it is Windows XP, you may have a look here. My recommendation: Take the NF4-6 non-AHCI package.

Thanks for the info. The thread is really useful! But I can't seem to find the NF4-6 non-AHCI package. There's only NF4-5 non-AHCI.

Ah! I downloaded the 4-6 non-AHCI package and noticed that the file name is 4-5. Thanks for the recommendation. I will do a format and see how the drivers work out.
