2 stupid threads in just a few days- yes i am officially dumb.
This is the newest Version of the Chipset Drivers for nForce4 Intel Mainboards.
Do not install unless you have an nForce4 driven Mainboard with Intel CPU.
Stupid Betanews naming.

1. You won't get any Audio driver, if you follow the download links. This is a big fault made by FileForum BetaNews.
2. As you have already realized, the linked nForce chipset driver packs v15.17 do not support NF1-3 chipsets. |

For some reason the installer doesn't work for me.It launches the first part,then as soon as it loads the first bar where it should practically launch the installation program,nothing happens...
Is there a way to fix this?

AdvModDev, who started this thread and has built these Remix packs, hasn't been here for a while.
Maybe you have better chances to get an answer, if you send him a PM. |

| seem to recall the trick was to right click and set them in a compatability mode with nforce drivers not installing |

wonka dude thanks,the compatibility trick fixed it now i'm running on the latest drivers 
May I ask what's extra in the 50mb mix of 1.3 drivers?What is that extra stuff useful for? |

I guess i've been absent awhile huh.
anyway, while 4.66 is included in the Vista drivers, there is no issues with it on XP, and so far it fixes the issue people had with the 4.65 drivers causing a huge systemhive.
XP and Vista both share the same WDM audio driver format, so any driver compatible with Vista should infact work on XP. |
