Just an FYI:
nVidia screwed up there package naming. The links to tthe Vista x86 and x64 packages actually point to the WinXP versions, and vice versa. They screwed up. |

| Did you see my post above? You need to download the "Vista x86" package from nVidia for the WinXP x86 version. They have them swapped. |

It is nearly unbelievable, what NVIDIA is doing. Everything is messed up.
They did not only mix Vista and XP, but even the english and international versions.
The only really new drivers are the Ethernet v67.80 ones. I am very interested in test reports, because I would rather like to put them into my NF4-6 chipset packs.

I'll agree with this one..
Absolute unbelievable their all versions on Sata Controllers, screws up on some aspect speed, stability, for what they are for... and they build pack mixed up and nothing more than NIC updated, ou yeah.. Now where the hell is the new s-ata drivers.
I just got to admit it's been quite some while..
-edit-
@fernando
Can't see any difference on v67.76.1 on Vista x64 SP1 here except the NIC buffering read/write will increase the speed on any todays network by adding it larger something from 256k to 512k or even extreme 1024k, but as far I test these against earlier they work flawless as NIC and same speed as the v67.76.0 (which was the faster 201MB/s with v10.3.0.21).
edit 2
on v9.99.09 we seem to have some difference these doesn't lag at all like v67.76.x drivers did with these drivers. Might be something there. goind 211MB/s.. So still not good but better than any v67.76.x drivers with these. System still was vista x64 SP1.
will try to get the benchmarks up (although see it still pointless without new Sata) and the XP version benchmarks asa I get this 590 to network.

Furthermore I doubt, that NVIDIA's official list of the chipsets, which will be supported by the 15.17 packs, is correct:
1. Since the nForce IDE drivers haven't been updated, the INF files still don't contain the HardwareID's of MCP04 (=nForce4 Intel) chipsets. Nevertheless the nForce4 Intel chipsets are listed as fully supported.
2. Although MCP51 and MCP61 chipsets are fully supported by the included drivers, you don't find the nForce 430/410/405/400 chipsets within NVIDIA's compatibility list.
@ TwL:
Thanks for your quick review.
If the new Ethernet drivers v67.80 are really better than the 67.76.x ones, it may be a good opportunity to replace them within my Vista and XP NF4-6 driverpacks.

Well hey for most of those still using 15.01 there's plenty 'new', but how in the hell would they mess up so much.
I've always wondered where exactly their web team spawned from |

Nobody is perfect, but NVIDIA obviously doesn't realize their mistakes.
There are a lot of examples for broken drivers or wrong download links (32bit instead of 64bit chipset driver packs etc.) at NVIDIA's homepage, but I have never seen a correction or a statement done by NVIDIA. |
