Thank You Sir,
tried hd tach which showed 210-214mb burst speed. Do you know is there a way to squeeze a bit more of performance ?

Well, that's 9MB/s faster than in my benchmarks at Seagate.. You could probably go around 240MB/s on bursting, but as an professional opinion that is not wise move. The speed maybe high, but usage level in windows would be still 1 channel transfer. So if that ~210MB/s can be enabled with NCQ even with drop to as low as ~180MB/s that would be more than twice as fast as 240MB/s at realistic usage (gaming, larger softwares loadings, etc etc..). That's specially welcome to Raid for example.

Hmm, could you copy HD Tach screen here. We can move from there... (see if it ain't stabile and clean setup etc etc..)

Didn't you say this was an stripped Raid 0? anyhow on picture the WD drive speed is correct in every way as an Sata IDE or single drive. Anyhow, screenshot doesn't say it's raid so assuming you are testing it as single drive.

I's quite damn fast even 74.3MB/s and access times are very good also.

o okay.. Perhaps my brains are melting, hehe.. Then the speeds are exactly as they should. Prefer single drives myself newer did see any sense on Raid setups other than 2 small drives together as none root & swap/paging files at at raid array.
