Now there's an functional idea! No protections loading idiotic check up drivers and as soft says no none sense 
Sadly, this kinda efforts usually ends up a bit bad because most bigger titles will never go to this direction and that leads only smaller style of games coming or smaller developers. Although that ain't so bad either (just in a sense at least more comes through) except that this kinda adds them away from huge market of box buying customers like myself. |

Stardock Central already does that.
I'm just happy to get a new client. I thought Stardock Central needed an overhaul, but personally I think Steam needs one more.
