Oh dear but then they screwed the pooch with yet another new non-standard cable setup.

Oh well, maybe one day.

I haven't seen any other external PCI Express connectors yet, so it looks standard enough to me.

Whether or not anything else uses it doesn't really matter at this point.

Hope more manufacturers pick this up. It might be a hard sell though since it could hamper their ability to sell new notebooks, so we'll see what happens.
