Latest NVRAID.ROM on DFI NF4?

Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

Trying here to get the latest SATA Drivers set as SATA2 and not as DMA. Extracted the latest possible (I think 12/07) nvraid.rom from asus strike 2 bios, replaced the original of DFI LanParty Ultra-D (NF4) and flashed OK, but I dont have any screen that says NVraid version or if it is enabled.

Questions: Do I really have to update this with a nf4 compatible version to allow SATA2 setting on SATA Controller? If this is the issue, what's the latest and where to get it?

Previous versions of SATA controller could be set as SATA2 without enabling Raid on BIOS.

You shouldn't double post.. but, if you would have searched or look 20 or so post down from this one you would have found your answer. Sounds like your using too new of a NVRAID.ROM

getting really tired to see this topic all over forums, yeah..

best way to get rid of it is of course solving it and not bunching around any longer, but have no idea what board is in question there's like more than anything NF4 boards out of DFI those are so mixing in my eyes. So wouldn't even dare to make a joke and guess an BIOS to be added. Like 'NF4' in my ears ain't meaning anything these chipset are from oldest AM 410's to newest 775 Sockets 790's.

I think these places would be best to look board specifics, modded BIOSes and so on.:
