Well weirdly the PS3 browser gets a 25/100 :-
That makes it better than IE... 
In all seriousness, the PS3 browser isn't that bad really, only the controls are clunky (even with the mouse, no Forward/Back buttons unless you right click to bring up a menu that you then select with the scroll wheel, wtf..!), though it's not 'too' bad with the gamepad as most buttons are shortcuts in some way.
Certainly useable though, and it looks very swish, better looking than any PC browser.

Right now, no one I guess, or probably cutting-edge developpers only.
Most current (released) browsers don't even pass the Acid2 test...
But it would sure be nice if the most used browsers, in their next versions (Firefox 3, IE8, Safari 3.1 (??), Opera 9.5, etc.) would all get 100/100 score.
Webstandards are a nice thing to have, but only if everybody respects them. |
