PSPS:
We measured total system power consumption at the wall socket using an Extech power analyzer model 380803. The monitor was plugged into a separate outlet, so its power draw was not part of our measurement.
Dont forget to apply the PSU efficiency.

UPS?? UPS????? Nah never bothered with one of those. I did buy one but it was too big behind the desk. Dont need to worry about power outages. I live in a city centre and in 11 years had one power outage. When I lived in a local village it was nearly once a month!!

I do run my gear through three separate power filters though.

Clean power is important.
