i have a Palit 8500GT Video card and i think the fan is on its last legs, tried cleaning it and when it starts from cold it makes a hell of a noise for about 10-15 mins

what are my best bets in getting something to cool it?

Have you tried a quick squirt of WD40 in the fan bearing?

Helped out many a Geforce3 etc. that had noise problems for me.
